    • 1-3 pieces of art can be submitted by each artist each month

    • All visual art mediums are accepted.

    • Artwork must be visual art (No music video's, performing arts, dance, poetry, or literature UNLESS it is about or includes visual art)

    • No, artist photos will be uploaded “as-is” with no changes.

    • LAA does reserve the right to “crop” photos used in contest teaser posts.

  • No, Contestants will be ineligible to win for the next 6 months after winning once.

    • The win will be passed to the next artist with the next highest total number of “likes”

    • Artists are encouraged to submit each month to increase exposure to their artwork.

  • Yes, Artists will have the opportunity to identify their art for sale, its price and contact methods.

  • No, Artists will deal with collectors in their own time/contact method. LAA will not be involved in the sale of the artwork advertised or posted as part of/during its contest promotions and/or periods.

    • Early art submissions may be used as a teaser for the upcoming month’s art.

    • Any artwork submitted after midnight on the first will be held for the following month’s contest.

    • Submission period will be from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month at 11:59 PM EST.

  • To remain in compliance with Facebook content rules, the following will apply to eliminating any art that could potentially place us in a compliance violation situation, or cause discomfort with the audience.

  • Yes, Once a request to remove a piece of art from a contest is received. LAA members will remove the art within 24 hours and the piece will be ineligible to win.

    A commission from a sale will not be charged for any art submitted for the monthly Online Show Like the artist post contest.

Rules Prospectus

  1. We post artwork to be voted on each month (timelines are outlined below)

  2. Anyone can post not just LAA members

  3. 1-3 images submitted/artist

    1. Artwork must be visual art (No music videos, performing arts, dance, poetry, or literature UNLESS it is about or includes visual art)

    2. Artwork must be tasteful and/or family friendly

    3. No nudity

    4. No violence

    5. No profanity

    6. No politics

    7. If any piece of art is in question the LAA committee will note and if excluded, the artist will be emailed with an explanation

  4. No previously submitted artwork

  5. If the artist has won in the last 6 months, they are not subject to win again and the win will be passed to the artist whose art received the next highest votes.
    While not eligible to win a prize, artists are encouraged to enter every contest to help expand exposure to their artwork.

  6. All mediums accepted

  7. Artwork must be representational of individual voice

  8. Is the art for sale?

    2. Will the artist allow print on demand of their art?

    3. How to contact the artist if someone wants to buy the art?

    4. Have shipping costs predetermined so this can be posted with the art.

  9. Posting Rules

    1. Artists submit art to the LAA email address 

    2. All submissions received from the 1st to the last day of a month will be used for the next month's voting and posts. Any submissions that arrive after midnight will be available for the following month's show.
