"You Be The Judge", a peer judged art show at the RP Funding Center, open to all artists, members and non-members of the Lakeland Arts Association. This is a ribbon only award show that still qualifies for your artist resume'! All artists who enter may help judge the show by following the judging rubric provided. Each piece is individually judged, and the objective is to give artists a chance to experience what is involved in objectively and effectively jury a show. The winning pieces will be chosen by tallying all of the scores for each individual piece. There will be First, Second and Third place awards, as well as three Merit awards, each awarded a ribbon. Entry fee is only $15.00, and artists may submit up to two pieces. This will be a great opportunity experience judging firsthand! A friendly critique will follow the judging.

Receiving Tuesday, June 11 from Noon to 4:30pm and on Wednesday June 12 from 10am to 1pm. Judging begins at 2:30 on June 12, and the critique follows at 4:30pm.

Limit of two pieces per artist.

Art from previous show can be picked up on the same dates as receiving for this show.

No works larger than 30 inches width including frame, full frontal nudity, political subjects, commercially trademarked or copyrighted work of others, work that has previously won an award at RP Funding shows this current year.
